Los Angeles County has launched an ambitious new web-based resource center in partnership with a national nonprofit called Socialserve.com. The website "housing.lacounty.gov" is being developed to provide extensive listings of affordable, special needs and emergency housing. The site will also help manage public vacancy lists for local PHAs as well as provide call center support to users. This workshop will introduce you to Socialserve.com and to this comprehensive new resource that is already yielding extraordinary results.
